The agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Amit ("Velqiri", "we", "us"), for the Velqiri iPhone app, the Velqiri Apple Watch app and the services behind them. When you create an account and accept them in the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Velqiri.
Who can use Velqiri
- You must be 18 or older. The app asks for your date of birth and will not set up Velqiri for anyone younger.
- Your account is personal. Don't share it, and give accurate details, especially your date of birth.
- You may not use Velqiri where the law does not allow it.
The service
Velqiri is a health and wellness companion for iPhone and Apple Watch. It shows sleep, activity, recovery and heart trends from the Apple Health data you choose to share, compares them with your own history, works out strain from workouts and all-day heart rate, suggests a bedtime and wind-down from your usual nights, and records workouts on Apple Watch. The Apple Watch app also shows a summary of your day and offers breathing and quick check-ins. An AI coach plans your day, writes an insight on each health screen, checks in at moments you keep on, reviews your week, month and year, prepares food log drafts with nutrition estimates, including optional micronutrients, for meals you describe, and reads lab report PDFs for you to review. Optional teams let you take part in challenges with people you invite.
Wellness disclaimer: not medical advice
Velqiri gives general wellness information. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease or condition. Nothing in the app, including anything the coach writes, is medical advice or replaces a qualified professional.
- Scores, estimates and trends are approximate. Estimates are labelled, and missing data is shown as missing, never as zero. Readings from Apple Watch and other devices can be wrong.
- ECG recordings and heart notifications are Apple's own records, shown with their source. Velqiri does not interpret them.
- Lab values are transcribed from your PDF for your records. Velqiri does not interpret them clinically, so check them against the original and ask your clinician about them.
- Nutrition and micronutrient values are rough AI estimates from your description, not measurements. Food suggestions that mention your lab results are general food ideas, not treatment, and never supplement or medication doses.
- Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise, nutrition or weight programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have symptoms such as chest pain, fainting or shortness of breath.
- Never ignore professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something in Velqiri. Never start, stop or change a medication because of the app.
- Velqiri is not for emergencies and is not monitored in real time. If you feel unwell or think you may have an emergency, contact your local emergency number straight away. If you are thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis line where you live.
The AI coach
The coach is an AI system, not a person. It is always on: it is part of the service, and there is no setting that turns it off. It may send you a short check-in at moments of your day that you keep on, and you can silence any moment or set quiet hours in notification settings. The only way to stop the AI from processing your data is to delete your account.
To work, the coach sends the relevant part of your data to the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy. AI can make mistakes. Replies can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. You are responsible for checking food drafts, including estimated nutrients, and lab values before you confirm them, and for how you act on any suggestion. Coach features are part of Velqiri Premium, including a free trial where Apple offers one.
Your account
- Keep your password and devices secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can sign in with email and a password, or with Sign in with Apple.
- You can export your data and delete your account from Privacy & data in the app at any time.
Premium subscriptions
Velqiri Premium is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple's purchase sheet shows the actual local price, billing period and any introductory free trial before you confirm. Prices and availability can vary by App Store region, and Apple decides who is eligible for an introductory offer.
A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If you start a free trial, the plan's regular charge begins when the trial ends unless you cancel first. You can restore purchases and manage your subscription from Membership in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Deleting the app or your Velqiri account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple subscription settings. Without Premium you keep your health records, basic workout recording, export and account deletion. The coach and other Premium features show a subscription card instead.
Your content
You own the data and content you add to Velqiri. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes sending it to our AI providers. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
Posts you write in a team are visible to the members of that team. You are responsible for what you post.
Teams and community rules
Teams are for encouragement. Velqiri has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. In a team you must not post or send:
- harassment, bullying, shaming, threats or hate, including about someone's body, weight, ability, gender, race, religion or health;
- pressure to overtrain, skip rest, eat or drink in unsafe ways, or train through pain or illness;
- unsafe health advice, including about medication, supplements, extreme diets or dehydration;
- someone else's private details, health information or images without their permission;
- sexual content, violence, illegal content, spam or advertising.
Reporting and blocking. Use Report this post on any post. The post is hidden for you straight away, and the report goes to the team owner and to our moderation team. We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and may remove its author from the team, suspend their account or close it. You can block a member at any time to hide their posts and leaderboard row from you. To report something from outside the app, email support@velqiri.com.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Velqiri. For example, don't:
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around security, usage limits or the paywall;
- disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- create accounts automatically, or upload content you don't have the right to share or that contains malware;
- use the coach or the app to give medical care to other people, or present their output as professional advice;
- use Velqiri for anything unlawful.
Fair use and limits
To keep Velqiri reliable and affordable, AI features have daily limits and requests are rate-limited. When a limit is reached, or when an AI provider is unavailable, the app tells you and you can try again later. The coach never substitutes pre-written advice for a reply it could not write. Limits may change as the service grows.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features, and Velqiri may not be available in every country. We may update these Terms. For a material change we tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version before it applies to you. The version and effective date at the top of this page always show which Terms are current.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & data → Delete account permanently. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you time to export your data. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep Velqiri accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the app or the coach. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Velqiri in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
App Store terms
If you got Velqiri from Apple's App Store:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Velqiri and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Velqiri.
- If Velqiri fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Velqiri.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about Velqiri, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and claims that it infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must also follow the terms of any third-party service you use with Velqiri.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are heard by the courts of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. If the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, or to the protection of its mandatory consumer laws, these Terms do not take that away. Before starting a formal dispute, please email us so we can try to resolve it.
